For the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro, Google added a really good Picture Unblur function. Google might surpass itself this year by adding a Video Unblur feature to the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro.
We now know that Google is actually developing this feature for the Google Pictures app, according to the app crackers over at 9to5Google. But it hasn’t yet had any real impact on videos, they were even able to enable the new function. Although the location within the app has already been decided, Google is likely still working on this function. Senses well.
It would be logical for Google to introduce this function solely for the Pixel 8 range, similar to how Photo Unblur works, but after some time, they could make it available on other smartphones. It is what we might anticipate.
New video overlays have also been noticed in the app in addition to Video Unblur. These overlays, which have effects like VHS, Polaroid, B&W, Super 8, and many more, can be applied on top of your recordings.
