Although the timing is a little strange in this case, a Pixel Watch update could happen at any moment. According to Verizon, new software with the March security patch might debut as soon as today.
On the Verizon Pixel Watch software page, they released information about an upgrade that is planned to take place today (February 23) as software version RWDA.230114.008.
The most recent Android Security fixes are provided for your smartphone, according to the update’s sole description. This is a very typical note from them when a device only receives a monthly patch, so it doesn’t really tell us much.
The timing is strange because neither a new month is beginning nor is it March. Devices rarely get security updates for months we haven’t yet entered. Samsung occasionally sends updates a day or two early, while Google does it far less frequently. Along with Pixel phones, Google has continued to push monthly upgrades for Pixel Watch on Mondays.
