At the world premiere of her husband Ben Affleck’s movie “Air” at Amazon Studios, Jennifer Lopez was, quite literally, a breath of fresh air. The 53-year-old celebrity dressed in an Antonio Grimaldi Couture gown with a chartreuse skirt attached to a sheer, long-sleeved bodice under the direction of stylists Rob Zangardi and Mariel Haenn. Crystal beads that looked like raindrops were draped across the upper part of the dress.
Lopez added lab-grown diamond stud earrings from Shiphra, matching rings, and a bejeweled pill-shaped clutch to the decorations to complete the look. Under the skirt, metallic platforms could be seen. Her renowned engagement ring from Affleck, set with a green stone, provided the finishing touch. Her green skirt actually felt like a sweet nodPossibly as a symbol of her love for Affleck and her pride in his most recent success, she added a diamond to her engagement ring.
Her hair was styled by Lorenzo Martin, who gathered stray strands into a sloppy ponytail and curled them to frame her face. Sharply defined cat eyes, a glossy nude lip, peach blush, and enhancing shadow were all provided by Hrush Achemyan. Tom Bachik, a nail expert, described Lopez’s manicure as a “micro French fantasy” and it undoubtedly radiated a translucent brilliance.
Affleck chose a different path, donning a textured, dark outfit by Thom Sweeney. He chose a pair of brown leather oxford shoes to go with his midnight navy corduroy suit, which was buttoned over a blue shirt and textured ridged tie.
