In Gujarat’s Valsad district, a startling explosion in a pharmaceutical company was followed by a huge fire on Monday night, leaving two persons dead and two more injured.
According to accounts, a violent explosion occurred at the Van Petrochem Pharma Company in the Valsad district’s Sarigam GIDC Chemical Zone. During the incident, a section of the building collapsed.
The injured people were sent right away to a nearby hospital.
After learning about the incident, fire tenders were also called into action. Nevertheless, because the firefighters were not aware of the chemical that caused the blast before the fire, they were unable to use water to put it out.
