Graham Norton said, “I personally feel a great duty to make our Ukrainian colleagues proud.
Graham will join them for the Grand Final on May 13 and collaborate with comedian Mel Giedroyc on the commentary.
Terry Wogan and Ulrika Jonsson hosted the 1998 edition of the UK Eurovision Song Contest.
Although Ukraine, the winner for 2022, is unable to host the tournament because of Russia’s on-going invasion, the UK is doing it on their behalf.
“Standing shoulder to arm with Ukraine is such an honor.”
The 2023 Eurovision participation was described as “such a huge honor” and “privilege” by Emmy winner Waddingham.
“It is truly a great honor to be standing shoulder to shoulder with Ukraine, a country that has carried itself with such strength and solidarity this year, perhaps more than ever,” she continued.
Sanina declared, “I’m very thrilled to present Ukrainian culture and innovation, and to assist in putting on a display to make my country proud.” I’m eager to visit Liverpool and get to know the locals and the rest of the Eurovision family.
Graham was also excited to share the news: “I truly believe it’s the greatest show on earth and every year that I’m involved it’s a huge honour.”

Additionally, Ukrainian broadcaster Timur Miroshnychenko, who hosted Eurovision in Ukraine in 2017, will be hosting the opening ceremony.
Also, for the first time in the UK’s Eurovision Song Contest history, both Semi-Finals will be live on the BBC. Scott Mills and Rylan will be providing UK audiences with insightful commentary.
The Grand Final of the Eurovision Song Contest 2023 will take place in the Liverpool Arena on Saturday 13 May. The Semi-Finals are on Tuesday 9 and Thursday 11 May.
