Dad Raises 7 Kids Alone After Wife Dies, Cries When Stranger Tells Him Christmas Came Early

Dakota Nelson’s life was just the way he wanted in 2018. He was working with his wife in their garage while their children played.

Dakota left the garage for only a few moments, not expecting to see the scene that he returned to in the garage. His wife was on the ground and not breathing.

She was only 38 years old when she was rushed to a hospital where she would remain in a coma for several weeks. Doctors tried to save her, but she didn’t recover.

Dakota knew that he had to raise his seven children on his own because his wife would want him to continue to provide the care and love that they needed.

While trying to pay all of the bills, Dakota soon found himself with three jobs.

Christmas soon arrived, and it was all Dakota could do to make sure the lights stayed on in the home and that the family had food to eat.

That’s when he received help from a secret Santa who wanted to make sure the kids had a good Christmas.

When Dakota opened the envelope he received and saw $10,000, he was speechless.

However, he knew that he would be able to provide for his kids and give them the things that they needed and deserved after losing their mother.

He is forever grateful to the person who had a kind heart to help his family.
