After breaking into their home last night, authorities discovered a mother and her two young sons dead.
Police discovered Nadja De Jager, 47, and her two kids Maximus, 7, and Alexander, 9, dead after they broke into the Belvedere, South East London, residence.
Police and paramedics were called to the terraced property at 11.50 p.m. yesterday after receiving reports of worries for the residents’ welfare.
While neighbors have spoken of the destruction in their “close-knit community,” detectives are not actively looking for anyone else in connection with the inquiry.
The home was shut off today, and the driveway, which is currently occupied by a grey Mitsubishi pickup vehicle, was littered with kids’ toys, including a mini basketball net and multi-coloured sand toys.Following the horrific tragedy, shocked neighbors have expressed their anguish in public.
They appeared to be a “regular family,” according to Marion Beazer, who lives next door to the family.
The elderly resident of the street, who has lived there for 40 years, continued, “They never caused any problems in the street.
According to what I know, they were a typical family. They kept their distance from one another.”The local neighbors genuinely look out for one another.
“Seeing the children’s toys out front makes me sad. It’s really horrible.
Marion claimed that two police officers were inspecting her home’s CCTV for any odd activity.
The mother of the family used to be seen walking her two young sons to and from school, according to another neighbor, Christopher Babutulde, 68, who lives two doors down from the family.
