Samsung Phones’ June Updates Have Arrived (Updated)

Although Google is once again running behind schedule with its monthly Pixel update, this has no effect on when Samsung will provide new security updates for its own smartphones. Samsung is already sending updates to phones like the Galaxy S21 series even though April hasn’t even been a week old.

The Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21+, and Galaxy S21 Ultra currently have the initial upgrades in the US. More updates are probably coming before the end of the week. You shouldn’t anticipate many changes in this area because April is often a month of modest Android updates.

You should only anticipate the “most recent Android security patches on your device,” according to Verizon, which is currently sending upgrades. Not even casually did they.
Throw away any “performance” enhancements, camera adjustments, or other changes. The Galaxy S23 range will soon receive a significant camera improvement, while previous devices may not receive the same updates.

The builds to check for if you own a Galaxy S21 device are as follows:

TP1A.220624.014.G991USQS6EWCA for the Galaxy S21
TP1A.220624.014.G996USQS6EWCA Galaxy S21+
TP1A.220624.014.G998USQS6EWCA Galaxy S21 Ultra
REVISED APRIL 13: The April update is available for the Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+, and Galaxy S23 Ultra as well. As far as we know, this is not the anticipated camera update, however the new builds are as follows:

TP1A.220624.014.S918USQU1AWC8 Galaxy S23 Ultra
TP1A.220624.014.S916USQU1AWC8 for the Galaxy S23+ TP1A.220624.014.S911USQU1AWC8 for the Galaxy S23
